I am a lover of Jesus who cares deeply about helping women know how valued they are by God. I have dedicated the last six years of my life to full-time refugee work and women who are in abusive situations. Although I work in areas of horrific trauma (currently helping victims of ISIS in the Middle East), I laugh whenever I find the opportunity. One Syrian refugee who came to the U.S. after experiencing unspeakable loss nicknamed me the “Queen of Enthusiasm.”
She told me “Anna sometimes when I get down about all my problems I think of you and say to myself, I am going to face this with enthusiasm just like Anna.” Despite all the pain, we fight for joy wherever we can find it.

I would love to have you join me here at my blog where my goal is to help people find joy and hope even when trying to tackle some of life’s most serious issues.
